Ivan Franko National University of Lviv is a classical higher educational establishment with powerful scientific schools, old traditions and modern innovation approaches. Vytautas the Great University (VDU) is a state non-profit educational institution. VDU is located in Kaunas, Lithuania. VDU cooperates with the European University Association (EUA). The university was founded in 1992 and has 7,300 students.

Founded in 1975, the University of Bayreuth is ranked 45th out of the world's top 475 universities younger than 50 in the 'Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Ranking'. Interdisciplinary research and teaching is the main feature of its more than 170 degree programmes offered at seven faculties in the natural sciences, food sciences, engineering, law and economics, as well as language, literature and cultural studies. The University of Bayreuth has about 12,500 students, 1,601 academic staff (274 of them professors) and 1016 non-academic employees on the campus in Bayreuth and at satellite campus in Kulmbach.

Center of Teaching Excellence (ZHL, Zentrum für Hochschullehre)

The ZHL functions as the University of Bayreuth’s service point for each and every teaching matter. Its main goal is to guide and support university teachers, and to optimise teaching as well as students' learning outcomes. The activities of the centre are centred around development, support and exchange, in order to meet teaching wishes and requirements. It is a member of the Bavarian network ProfiLehrePlus, which unites all Bavarian public universities in the sphere of teaching excellence.

The University of Versailles-Saint-Canton-en-Yvelines, a public university that is part of the federal University of Paris-Saclay, was established in 1991. The university offers 200 academic programs and has 20,000 students. 39 laboratories and research institutes operate on the basis of the university.

The Wroclaw Technical University was established in 1945, thanks to the efforts of the teachers of the now defunct Lviv Technical University and the Jan Kazimierz University in Lviv, who adapted the destroyed buildings of the German Higher Technical School (Technische Hochschule) to the needs of the university. Currently, 23,800 students study here and about 60 study programs are offered.

Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman is a leading economic research and educational institution. Over its more than 115-year history, the University has accumulated a rich educational, scientific, creative, cultural, and human resources potential, which allows it to hold highly competitive positions in the market of educational services and high ratings among employers.

Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University (PNPU) is one of the oldest universities in Ukraine and is practically synonymous with watershed events in the history of Ukrainian national science and education. Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State University is a state educational institution of the fourth attestation level, with a century-old history of training pedagogical staff, currently providing professional training of future teachers and specialists in a number of non-pedagogical specialties, in high demand in the Central Ukrainian region as well as in Ukraine as a whole.

Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine
was established on June 7, 1999 by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 988.

The vision of the Institute of Higher Education – is a national education and think-tank in the field of higher education composed of the team of highly qualified and internationally recognized professionals united by the values of openness, honesty and tolerance.

Public Organization "Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine" (hereinafter - the Union of Rectors of Ukraine) was created on April 9, 1993 (registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on June 2, 1993).

The Mission is to satisfy and protect the rights and interests of the members of the organization, to promote the improvement of the quality of training of specialists with higher education, to ensure the autonomy of higher education institutions, to coordinate higher education institutions of Ukraine in educational, scientific, innovative, economic, legal, humanitarian and other spheres of activity, as well as increasing the role of higher education institutions in the social life of the country.

The mission of the Union of Rectors of Ukraine is implemented through cooperation with state authorities, local self-government bodies, professional organizations, public associations and bodies formed by them; participation in public-state partnership in the field of education and science; international cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific (creative) research.

The Union of Rectors of Ukraine conducts expertises of draft legislative and regulatory acts; initiates amendments to current or development of new normative legal acts in the field of higher education, scientific (creative) and innovative activities to bodies that carry out management in the field of higher education; prepares recommendations for decisions on issues of higher education, scientific (creative) and innovative activities; studies, analyzes and disseminates the experience of higher education institutions; organizes and conducts all-Ukrainian and international scientific, scientific and methodical conferences, symposia on topical issues of higher education, scientific (creative) and innovative activities; promotes the involvement of higher education institutions in international educational organizations.

The Assignment of the Union of Rectors of Ukraine is to reform higher education in accordance with international standards, ensure the quality of higher education and its integration into the European area of higher education.
